    Seize The Day Trills

Ok, I'm not sure if this is in the right section, but whatever, can anybody offer some advice on how to pass these trills in the outro, I'm finding it impossible to deal with even with the RB solo buttons and i cannot pass the song without No Fail which is a bummer because i can FC the entire song with the exception of the trills of course, any advice/tips?

    Thanks guys, Revvy

When dealing with trill lanes on Rock Band 3 for guitar, hold down the lower button and lift and press the higher button. For example, if it's a Green/Red trill, never let go of the green one, just lift and press the red one. It works like a charm.

(This was done because that's how trills are supposed to be played in real life)

Also, nice avatar. You're an inspiration to all Unsigned posters.

Thank you and i do that, i hold the green and tab the blue as fast as possible, but it rarely builds up a combo as the trills are ridiculously fast o_o

So play faster Really, does it boil down to anything more than that?

What do you expect us to tell you? If you can't hit them fast enough, what are words gonna do to change that?

Practice the hell out of it.

That's what I do when there is only one part that's hard in a song that is overall very easy. I start at like 60% speed and work my way up until I can get it at full speed. That's all I can really tell you.

Actually, you don't need to do it as fast as you can. Pace yourself. It doesn't matter how fast the notes are on the screen, just do it at a comfortable pace. If you push yourself, you're more likely to mess up. Trill lanes are time based, not tempo based and certainly not note frequency based. So no matter how fast the notes are coming at you in a trill lane, you only need to hit the top note a couple times a second or faster.

Well, when they're coming from your account, words rarely help anyway.

How about explaining the truth behind trill lanes (as I did just a while ago) instead of bashing on new members?

    This.

Also, what I do when I can't do it fast enough is, hold down the lower button with one finger and then use my right hand (which I strum with), and tap the other buttton with that hand. Majority of the time it works for me.
