Midi-Pro drums in Rock Band 2 (Wii) - doesn't like fast notes

I have the Midi-Pro adapter for Wii that I have my electronic drumset hooked up to. When I use this with Rock Band 2, it works, except when doing a fast roll, in which case it only does a couple notes. This is not a sync problem, because this happens in the free-style drum fills. I even see the light on the adapter flash as fast as I hit the notes, so it is not a problem with the drumset. I do not have this problem in Rock Band 3, it performs the rolls as it should. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix?

I have this problem and a friend mine too. I have alesis dm5 and my friend has a alesis dm10. midi-pro goes fine with all games except rock band 2, lego rock band, and guitar hero 5. Does it happens to you too?

you can try this: turn on the xbox, log in, turn on your module and then put the game. it should be better.

Rock Band 2 and Rock Band 3 are virtually pretty much the same thing. Doesn't make sense to play the outdated game unless you want to play the songs that only that game has currently (Give It Away, Battery, and Spoonman).

Can't think of any other reason to play RB2 instead of RB3.

The Wii never got the HMX songs from RB2 either.
I remember playing Visions with an e-kit for the first time. I can never explain it, but it is infinitely more satisfying to play on real drums than on the stock drums.

Oddly enough, TB:RB doesn't have this problem at all, I can ace the rolls in Nowhere Man and Good Morning Good Morning every time.

The RB1 drum engine, however, is almost completely unplayable with an e-kit.

Still doesn't make RB2 look good if that's what you're saying.

Has anyone tried Trap electronic drum modules with rock band E450? I believe the more current one is E500? From what I'm seeing it does have a midi in and midi out system.
Here is a link to the web site.
