I'm not sure what the rationale is behind picking Pro upgrades

I'm getting all four of these. Not a fan of Korn anymore, but FOAL and FAFM were big favorites of mine in high school.

It is not really an age thing, Edgar Winter was popular before I was born. It is a matter of some people today only showing interest in the music of today. They need to have mandated classic rock education or something in schools.

Agreed, but on that note, they should have mandated modern rock education classes for people over the age of 40 at the local rec center.

Myself, I find I like a mixture of both old and new. 60'a & 70's rock. 80's pop. 90's alternative. I think there are plenty of promising musical talents today, as well (not going to put names out because the opinions on modern music are rather polarized). Then again, I tend to have rather eclectic tastes in music.
