Alternate version from the 90s? 25th anniversary of the album?).
GH got a re-record (which was likely recorded in 1997). It *appears* that RB is getting the original master.

    Which is fan-effingtastic.

I would have thought that Voodoo Child (Slight Return) would keep you satiated for a while.

We've seen this before. The forums are usually very different from the greater audience. I think it's safe to say that korn will be the top seller of the week.

To all the people complaining about no KoRn pro Upgrades, The reason for it is that they possibly could have charted the two guitars at the same time (to avoid really boring verses) and due to this couldn't make a Pro guitar chart for it. There are two audible guitars that overlap but could be charted for 5 buttons.

This at least goes for Freak on a Leash. Falling Away From Me could be a long shot saying this.

The verse riffs for the song, if you're playing only one guitar's part, is just 3 notes and the each play at generally separate times for the most part. This means that HMX had 3 options:

    1) Chart only one guitar, make it really boring for the majority of people who play 5 button guitar and get complaints about it, and have a Pro chart.

    2) Chart both guitars, make it a little more fun for the 5-button players, and have a really awkward Pro charts that would get complaints.

    3) Chart both guitars, make it a little more fun for the 5-button players, and have no Pro chart...and get complaints

It's clear they went with option 3.
Remember that time I predicted RBN?

    Wow....there's a statement.
I wonder what that means for the future of Pro Guitar/Bass (as in future games), considering it was a major component for the game design in RB3.

Frankenstein, the mega version: The original was really just "warm up" music for the band, never had a title, and they played it for fun, never thinking to record it. The final album version was a cut and paste of the various parts.....and thus dubbed "Frankenstein".

We've seen this before. The forums are usually very different from the greater audience. I think it's safe to say that korn will be the top seller of the week.
    Not a chance.

sounds like there's 2 drum solos in the long version. (both being double solos)
I still wonder if we get to play both parts of the dual drum duel.

I have to imagine that's happened before. Very few popular songs have only a single guitar part in them.

I'm getting all four of these. Not a fan of Korn anymore, but FOAL and FAFM were big favorites of mine in high school.
And if you have ever been to a roller skating rink, you are sure to have heard "Free Ride". Hmmm, do they even have roller rinks anymore?
    Future DLC Suggestions:

    Styx
    Sammy Hagar
    ZZ Top
Van Halen - anything but VH III songs!
Bob Seger - Live Bullet (full album)
    Ringo Starr

From what I gather from what they said about the process neither plays off of the other. They are done independently by different people so it would have nothing to do with why we don't see an upgrade for it.

My guess in this case would be it's not an iconic guitar part and/or it may have been muddy. I think the song itself will sell, but an upgrade for it may not seem a "need".
