    While some disagree, my opinion is that the Bangles' version of "Hazy Shade of Winter" is better than the Simon & Garfunkel original.

    Phish's cover of Ya Mar is better than the original. I finally found the original (by The Mustangs) so I could actually compare to two.
    Sonata Arctica is in Rock Band. This is officially the greatest thing ever.

    I would not say that it's "the obvious answer". I prefer the original version and usually I prefer Johnny Cash's work to NIN.
