1. Be really great at one instrument but only that one.
2. Be able to play any instrument but only mediocre and you can never progress past that point.

I already can do the second one, so I guess I'll choose #1.

I get bored with an instrument then keep it fresh by playing another so I've been living in option 2 my entire rock band stint.

It would be nice to master pro guitar so I'll go with option 1, because I'd rather not be me.
