Congrats on getting another GH song with "You're Gonna Say Yeah". If I may suggest, how about trying for The Sword's "Freya" next? Of course, anything by The Sword would be great. As luck would have it, all of their albums are on independent labels.

An awesome brazilian band. The sing metal songs and they are very popular here and reasonably known worldwide.

Animal Collective has a new album coming, it would be cool to see tracks from it or any of their albums come. All their albums have been released via independent labels.

Just so everyone knows we're booked solid on songs and acts until early 2013 (which is a good problem to have). So we're not actively pursing new songs/bands outside of those that we've already signed or contacted in the past.

However that doesn't mean you shouldn't continue to make requests. Other authoring groups look at this thread and use it to contact bands, and once we're through our backlog in 2013 we'll start up the contacting process again as well.

I just wanted to let everyone know that just because we're booked, or you don't see us announcing bands that have been requested lately that we're ignoring your requests as the entire RBN authoring community has eyes on this for an idea on what to pursue in regards to bands and labels

Another request:
British indie band Arctic Monkeys is on the independent record label "Domino". Well known for songs such as "Brianstorm" and "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor", it would be great to see them on RB.

"Favourite Worst Nightmare" may be a problem as the wiki page states Warner Bros. as well as Domino.

I think The Last Shadow Puppets (Alex Turner is also the lead singer of that band.) is on that label too, and they'd be a great band to go for also!
