Ozone Entertainment is one of the Rock Band Network's hottest authoring groups. We have authored some of the most unique songs on the service, including "Blue (Da Ba Dee)", "Pac-Man Fever", "Fight Back", and "Rock Me Roxy". And we're not slowing down.

Today, we will be revealing four new songs hitting playtesting when the XNA issue is resolved. We could just do them all right now, but where's the fun in that? We will announce one every 30 minutes for the next two hours.

Each song will have it's own distinct sound and style, since we at Ozone Entertainment love variety. Who wants to settle for an announcement of songs all one genre, or all from the same label? Boring!

Now let's get to our first reveal!

Ozone Entertainment is pleased to announce the return of one of our own artists, signed to Ozone Records, Counterfeit Pennies! We released "Five More Minutes" way back during RBN1. The punk rockers were also featured on the RBN MegaMix 1. We've been sitting on the five remaining tracks to their Fundaments EP, waiting for the perfect time to revisit it. And with RBN2 now here to allow us to add Pro Drums and harmonies, it's time.

More Anarchy Club is always great. I find myself liking Opal by Muchuu! as well, kind of reminds me of Freezepop in a way.

Having Drum&Bass on RB will be interesting, and something I might be checking out.

Looking forward to the rest of the reveals today!

It's time for our second reveal!

Ozone Entertainment is about to announce something special. Having worked with Buckner & Garcia, we know a thing or two about video game music. So we went to our friend Jeff Ball to see if we could bring something of his to the Rock Band Network. Who is Jeff Ball? He's a video game music composer who's worked on such games as Mokey Island 2: Special Edition, Red Orchestra 2, Gears of War 3, and Mass Effect 3. So needless to say, he knows what he's doing.

But we didn't want to do any of that big budget music (and by that, I mean we didn't want to go through an endless licensing process). We wanted to dig deeper into his library and pull out a piece from something he's put a lot of himself into. That's why we went with the Xbox Live Indie Game Astroman. The ambient and soothing sounds of "Interplanetary Cruise" caught our ear and we decided to bring it to the RBN.

And I dunno anything by HIM besides Killing Loneliness. Does that count as "old school HIM"? o-o
No it doesn't, Dark Light which contains Killing Loneliness is HIM's 5th album and the 1st album not to be on the label BMG (1st 4 albums are on BMG and the others are on Sire Records which is a Warner group). So by this, old school HIM will be albums before Dark Light.

Time for our third reveal? Yes, yes it is!

Ozone Entertainemt is proud to announce another new artist to our roster and the Rock Band Network. It's goth rockers ANKST. We put on our eye black and injected ourselves with testosterone to prepare for the deep booming vocals and dark sound of "Monument". We'd have a video preview, but the XNA issue prevented us from getting into Audition Mode to shoot it. So we'll have one when we can. In the meantime, give the song a listen here: http://www.myspace.com/music/player?sid=45422756&ac=now

Now THAT's the kind of goth I was talking about earlier. Am picking that up for sure. That makes up for passing on getting music from Monkey Island in the game (although Interplanetary Cruise doesn't sound too bad either).

Thanks guys for being excited about our new songs. And don't think it's totally out of the realm of possibility we could try to get Jeff to pull some strings. Just don't expect it any time soon.

Well, I guess it's time to do our final reveal.

Ozone Entertainment announced back at E3 that after Pac-Man Fever we were going to be crazy enough to do another full album on the RBN. It's been a while, and people have been constantly asking if the deal fell through. We're proud to say "HELL NO!" The Giraffes are back and better than ever. After the big success of "Done" back in RBN1, it's about damn time we gave you more alcohol-fueled rock. The first song off the Ruled album is ready to enter testing, and it's a rough one.

Here's your First Look at "The Border": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhwNTloiK98

    ======================

That's it for our announcements for today. Thanks for checking them out, and hopefully we have something for everyone.

Well, this thread is going just a little slower than past ones, so I think I might just make my announcement now.

Askari Nari Authoring is proud to announce that we are working with experimental rock band Peroxwhy?gen! Never heard of them? Well, you might have heard of the band's well known member, Jeff Hardy, professional wrestler. Tracks from their upcoming album currently in production will be coming to the Rock Band Network. I'll link some of the songs they've recorded below.

Modest (Their most well known track)
    Resurrected
    Another Me

    Official Site
    Twitter
    Facebook

So yeah, this is the big announcement that I was hinting at. They're a pretty love it or hate it group (I love them, personally) and I'm hella excited to working with them.
I went to Harmonix and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Instead, they gave me a cheese pizza and told me that I could buy one pepperoni slice every week.

Awesome song. Got the goth sound, and it reminds me of old KMFDM or Ministry.

    I'm in for this one!
