There's one group that I talked to a while back that I'd really love to announce once they find the stems and we get everything sorted out. They made my favorite game soundtrack ever and it would sure be something to spice up the RB library

And I'm looking forward to listening to these artists! Tad bit upset cuz of the canned announcement, but I totally understand. TAG, will you immediatley announce it when you get the stems or are you gonna wait up a bit for the announcement?
Yeah sometimes we get labels artists that tell us we'll have stems by x date, so we plan on doing announcements, and then things get pushed back so we have to hold off on them.

We usually wait until the monthly announcement threads to do these things (it gives everyone a reason to check out the threads after all). However if we have a rush job (like with Fur Immer last month) and a track is going to hit testing before we have an announcement thread to announce it, then we'll go ahead and announce it as it hits testing.

I just don't want another situation like Protest the Hero. The band was excited, the label was getting stuff together for us (and other bands as well), and then the bottom fell out when GH was canned. We've had a lot of big named bands/labels (some that have been official HMX DLC, and some that are on plenty of wish lists), that committed to working with us and bringing tracks to the game, and then after the GH event they backed off.

One day when RBN is over (hopefully not for a very long time), I'll get you guys a list of what almost was (that is if things don't pick back up and we get to release them. If so I'll say hey this was one of the bands I was afraid would never see the light of day, way back when).

Either way. As it is now, the list and the artists that are on it makes me a sad panda.

Hopefully one day things will turn around and we can convince these reluctant artists to come to the game.

Whenever you say that, I get so curious! I just want to know! I know you can't say, for a few reasons, but... Aargh! Oh well. One day, we'll know.
So long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, good night.

Ozone Entertainemt is proud to announce another new artist to our roster and the Rock Band Network. It's goth rockers ANKST. We put on our eye black and injected ourselves with testosterone to prepare for the deep booming vocals and dark sound of "Monument". We'd have a video preview, but the XNA issue prevented us from getting into Audition Mode to shoot it. So we'll have one when we can. In the meantime, give the song a listen here: http://www.myspace.com/music/player?sid=45422756&ac=now
HEY! Those are the dudes who made a thread on this forum a good while ago. Good to see they're finally coming.

Hopefully there's more than just Monument coming.

So many other things to comment on! Much better announcements than last month.

    Man, that's gonna be amazing.
8/9/11 (Def Leppard) will be marked as the best day in RB history for me. HMX, major thanks for all this amazing DLC you put out!

Arrgh. Für Immer Verloren you mean. For a moment there I thought I had missed something important (Doro / Warlock)
