I saw Childish Gambino tonight at a secret show at Michigan State. I am sore in places I didn't know I had muscles at,lol. It felt more like the last Coheed show I went to than a hip hop show.

I almost saw Within Temptation at Terminal 5, until I realized they weer playing much, much closer. :P
Anyways, I got a problem. My sister wants to go see Iced Earth (she is a fan, not sure on tyou people's general opinion) and I think I want to go too. But here's the problem: They are playing with two bands, Volbeat and Hellyeah. Volbeat I kind of like, knowing A Warrior's Call, but I am very unsure on Hellyeah (though I'm sure they aren't very good). What do I do?

Wii Code: 5715 0911 6605 2201
Opening acts never play for very long, so you should be fine going. If you're really adamant about not seeing the band you dislike play (which is reasonable), you can always get a drink or two or smoke some weed.
Got Roger Waters on May 7th, and possibly Ian Anderson in October. Those should be great shows.
We need sludgey and droney and stonery metal:
Dirge
Sleep
Bongripper
Sunn O)))
Electric Wizard
Earth
Neurosis
Cult of Luna
Just get a drink (if you're old enough) while Hellyeah is playing. You can chill outside the venue too if it's not rude of you to do so. If it's fine with your group, you guys could just show up late and possibly miss them.
Just make sure they're an opener. Openers usually play 25-45 minute sets (depending on the number of bands and type of show). If they're the second opener, it could be longer than that. However, if they're the first headliner, their set could be anywhere from an hour to two hours.
Despite all my rage, I'm still just Nicolas Cage
So I just bought tickets to the Passion Pit and Hot Chip show at the Hollywood Bowl in September that I totally didn't expect to nab until the general sale goes up in a couple weeks. Excitement is a major understatement to describe my current mood, I can't wait.
