Remember remember the fifth of November
    Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
    Should ever be forgot...

I honestly hated my high school days. I went to an overpopulated school where drugs were everywhere and was stuck with every scummy person within the 10 mile radius. It's been 5 years since I got out of that school and have been working hard to make sure my daughters never have feel stuck in a soul sucking wasteland of dead-end people and dirt bags.

Catholic Schools really aren't any better. The fellow students are ridiculously spoiled and ultimately have the same obnoxious attitude towards one another as in high school, just a little less dangerous. What really did it was the ridiculous strictness and the oftentimes, false accusations. I got 3 days detention just for being 2 minutes late.

When I transferred over to public school... I didn't like it so much more but it was adaptable. I think I had more balls then I really should have, yet I never got into any serious fights. There was one little guido runt who was always harassing me, though he had such terrible luck which was pretty awkward (hit by a car, his mom died).

I'm in my third year of college now and I never looked back from high school since. College life is great. I'm not saying I'm an angel, I wasn't really innocent back then, but I would like to think I put all of that behind me now.

I was from one of the poorer areas in a school filled with obnoxious rich trash. Not to mention my mom was a despised teacher so I took a lot of crap for that. I'm just having one of these new father moments. My daughters were just born a few days ago and I find myself in deep thought of everything that I ever wished I could have changed about my life. High school is really nothing I have any control over other than the area, I know its up to me to raise them the best I can and maybe they won't feel like as much of an outcast as I was.

You sound like you already have some real solid ground for your babies just because you are thinking about it.

at my highschool I remember I was the one who talked to everyone even though (some thought I was wierd) (some thought I was a comedian) (some thought I was rude) but that was their opinion
and by the way I remember my graduation day was June 10th,2010 and the day was a Thursday and remember what I did that highschool graduation day I went to a bowling alley and did some bowling and guitarhero2/ rockband2 and this was so exciting I wouldn't regret missing that day... and by the way I was known as a popular kid or another term is "well known" and I felt lucky to be a popular person at my highschool...

I love being at a point in my life where high school seems like a distant memory or a past life.

I was in a new school about every 3 mos. Gosh, that was tough at times. Much of the experience is just a blur. The one really bright spot...I met my sweetheart and hubby in high school.
