That's a disgusting list of choices and to be RickRolled on top of it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I mean really the only thing 'missing' from that list of garbage is Extreme's 'More Than Words'.

You people really thought it was Zep or GNR didn't you.. go look at how hard they are to even license. NO matter if they might be the #1 requested.

I never imagined the Gangbang song coming to Rock Band. Top it off with a rick roll and you have the cheesiest pack in the history of Rock Band.

You need to turn Every Rose green in your sig now. Congrats to you!

BTW, I never requested Astley, but have actually wanted it in RB. Hell, we have Cartman singing Poker Face. Also, Astley's stuff is pretty fun to sing. So why not?

You keep saying that, but I see more people complaining about hmx saying(paraphrased), "Here's the number one thing you, the fans, wanted" when in truth it wasn't FANS of the song that got it to number one. I'm not saying it wasn't a highly requested song legitimately, and I think most reasonable people recognize that it was popular.

BUT you know, I know, the other people know, and hmx knows that this was not a legit number one yet they rick rolled us into thinking it may be.

It was a great show by hmx, but to sit there and act like this shouldn't be upsetting to some because they fell for the rick roll more than others, and because YOU like this song and they don't they shouldn't complain makes you look like a...

I'd say being the #1 most requested song is pretty epic.

And yes, 4chan lead a compain to vote for this song. Which is cool for two reasons:

    1) It shows that Rock Band is significant enough to draw that kind of attention.
    2) Enough people could collectively decide on a single song to request.

You know what would've been even funnier, if "Never Gonna Give You Up" was #2...and they couldn't give us #1 because it was "Stairway".

Or second funniest: It was Rick Astley...but was "Together Forever".

One man's trash is another man's treasure. I personally would have been thrilled if we had gotten More Than Words. I've requested that song quite a few times.

Yeah, I already said that. But either way, if you think it didn't hit #1 Requested, whatever that may be worth, because of 4chan...

It means you bought Fat Kid even after seeing the chart.

As for why this matters at all, it means nothing to me personally, because I'm pretty indifferent about the song. But it means the statement that the song was "legitimately" pushed to the top is the third of a title of one of the songs in the first Ministry pack. Honestly, few other songs would have been released even if they trumped Never Gonna Give You Up (Welcome To The Jungle? haha) anyway, so...

    Myah. Myah, I say! Myah!

This was a Rickroll...People want something cool and instead are given Rick Astley. That is the actual definition here. The joke is on the community as a whole. Laugh and enjoy. If you defend it or hate on it, it is strictly because you want to prove it isn't a joke or you are not the butt of a joke. If it was April 1 not February 14 we would all laugh I think. Laugh more... live longer.
