"I Alone" Pro Upgrade free

After getting my tax refund, I went on a bit of a DLC buying spree - got $80 worth of songs from the PSN Store, then went to the in-game store for Pro upgrades. I loaded my account with the automatic five dollar minimum to buy the upgrade for "Unbelievable," but then was not charged for the upgrade for "I Alone." I didn't even notice it at first, as I was just mechanically pressing buttons without paying too much attention, but it went straight from the description screen to the download screen. No screen asking me to authorize payment. And in the corner of the description screen, where the price ($0.99) usually is listed, it indeed said "Free."

If this is some promotion I was unaware of, feel free to disregard this message, but I can't imagine that it's supposed to be free.

I think it was part of the original DL. I don't remember getting it but checked (I wanted it free too!) It says already purchased for me. So I'm assuming that was one of those weeks were the Pro came free with the song.

I just checked on Xbox 360. It costs 80 MSP (99 cents).

Maybe you got some kind of glitch?

A few months ago, somebody posted that they downloaded an RBN song for free. (I believe it was on PS3 as well) A few hours later though, their account was deducted for the purchase.

I've never had them do that. If it says free it should be. Sony has had games go for free on the down low, meaning with little to no advertisement. I got Flow for free after someone on here posted it and it wasn't listed anywhere else.

I was able to get the rock band 2 export to rock band 3 for 99c aus due to a glitch and i was not charged any more

Now it says undergoing maintenance but it still gave me the pro upgrade for free. (I miss read it before, it said I just had the core song)
