They've said Desmond's story is ending. However, I could see him basically taking command of the modern Assassins and doing a modern day AC with a new protagonist.

Yeah, I saw it and had to try it myself. It's surprisingly hard to find the sweet spot to trigger it though.

If you can wait get the Wii U version because of its superior resolution, but I would also wait for 360 vs. Wii U comparison vids.

I agree. The Wii U, when it comes out, will (by a tiny margin over 6 year old tech) be the most advanced console on the market.
If you were debating between PS3 and Wii U, that would be a little tougher, since PS3 gets some freebies the other consoles (and PC) don't.

This is the only Wii U video I've found of ACIII. I don't notice that much of a difference, but it could just be YouTube.

Yeah, the other possible answer is maybe the difference won't be so great that it would justify waiting 3 extra weeks.

The Wii U version of AC3 will look worse and undoubtedly control worse. Ifs a no brainer what version to get if the Wii U version is one of them.
