I've been watching other videos on the game and came across another 4-part series put out by IGN. It's much more informative than the GameInformer series, and covers more info, though that should be a given since it's so close to release.

From what we were told, Assassin’s Creed III is planned to match the graphics of the PS3 and Xbox360, not exceed them. However, this is highly dependant of how much time is actually given to work on the title.

Hunh, that surprises me a little. To the point that I'm not positive I believe it. 8th gen should out-perform 7th gen basically by definition. Nintendo's not that backward (technologically speaking...from a sales standpoint they of course are gonna laugh their way to the bank with the Wii U).

And that article's a little outdated, too. AC3 is a launch title for the Wii U -- it will be available the same day as the console itself.

Even if the Wii U is significantly more powerful than current gen hardware, the game was not developed for it. I figure it would be like playing some old game on a top-of-the-line modern PC. Just because it's better than previous machines, doesn't mean it will bolster graphics and resolution of the game.

according to this the Wii U version looks just a good

the main reason I might get it for Wii U instead of Xbox is because of the Wii U gamepad the graphics won't be a big enough difference for me to care

Have they even announced what youll be able to do with the gamepad? Youll probably be able to change your weapons and thats it. Doesnt seem like a selling point. And like I said it will undoubtedly control worse.

well I am still waiting to see what else it does... I know I am not getting ACIII during its xbox launch so no matter what I will be waiting... I don't see how it will "undoubtedly control worse"

and if they put the map on the gamepad it will be well worth the wait
