Their promises seem kind of lofty and shocking. I mean, 40 downloadable songs at launch, zero lag, a strong educational game that's as fun as it is valuable as a learning tool, and all by the end of 2012, it just seems too good to be true. I mean, they've apparently been working on this for over 2 years, but they've been sparse with screenshots, gameplay, media appearances, and advertising. I mean, if you're making a game and you're releasing it to the general public in stores both online and brick-and-mortar, you might as well get your name out there. Hell, Power Gig was more consistent with updates and gaining attention. They at least advertised.
Another thing that's bugging me is that Bandfuse seems to keep tweaking with its UI and aesthetic. First we had
this, which was pretty fugly. But then they prettied it up a little
but it still had a terrible interface. Now, judging their Facebook announcement,
they've tweaked with it heavily again. Rocksmith at least had its interface down from the beginning of its announcement to the public. I just can't see this game succeeding.
