Oh, Trust me. I like this game and I'm not really complaining (even though I see how you guys would come to that conclusion) so much as missing the early days of RB3 when harmonix would upgrade the whole pack (like queen) and I'm still happy at least one song does get pro a week but let's be honest. Who doesn't want an excuse to play more Rock Band

Sometimes I feel with all these complaints, this board ends up sounding like the Sonic 4 Episode 2 forum. All that's been seen so far from the game is 1 gameplay trailer and a couple of screenshots and people are like "Everything is wrong with this game". It's a shameful truth of which can be compared to the quantity of pro upgrades and songs for RB3 DLC.

The early days when HMX would upgrade the whole pack? That happened, what, twice? Other than perhaps a large burst (compared to the whole amount in a given week) of Pro guitar content at the beginning, HMX has always released roughly 25-33% of a given week as upgradable content. Some weeks have more, some week have less, and some rare weeks have a massive influx of upgrades for old songs

However, HMX never released upgrades is large quantities on anything approaching regularity. Queen was an exception, not a rule. Confirmation bias is not actually proof. Expand your data and look at it all.

Yes, but I'm making the point that harmonix, doesn't seem to do this anymore. Which is sadening to the Pro players I play with and myself. And once again. I'm not complaining about the amout of content that is released. I think Harmonix generally chooses fairly good songs and gives the pro upgrade to a deserving one of them. My entire point of this post was to just say, that I thought it was nice when harmonix did more than one upgrade a week. And any possibility of this happening again would be more than welcome news.

They still do more than 1 upgrade sometimes, it may not be for songs you want (e.g. lots of people were complaining about Valentines' Day DLC having 2 upgrades whereas Megadeth having 1) but it still happens every so often.

Why he'd need to I don't know, but maybe henry can re-iterate again that the songs selected are based on a variety of factors not the least of which is time-to-produce.

If RB3 has been good for anything, it's been raised expectations on what HMX can and should do.

Harmonix have only done full-pack upgrades thrice (Queen, Def Leppard, 2112), all of which were about half a year apart, the last of which was only a couple of months ago. Pro guitar upgrades have been lacking lately, but so have songs for everything else.

Well, Queen had TWO packs fully upgraded and released in the same week. And 2112 was one song, it'd be silly to only upgrade a chunk of it.
