Who else thinks that RB is seriously lacking in the REAL Hair/Glam Metal department??

It seems to me that compared to everything else, RB doesn't have a whole lot of GOOD 80's hair/glam metal to offer. Bon Jovi doesn't count, Poison has always been WAY overrated, and the Motley Crue stuff is just too easy. I think we could use more stuff along the lines of Ratt, Dokken, Tesla, and some stuff from the first couple Extreme albums.

wait... so it's not that RB is lacking in hair metal bands, but that it's lacking in hair metal bands that you like?

No, its actually lacking. Bon Jovi isn't hair metal as much as people like to think so. Motley Crue has a full album, Poison only has 4 songs, and really other than that there's only a couple songs here and there that were on disc. Just compare those few songs against the amount of songs for other popular genres. I'm pretty sure there's more country available than there is hair metal.

I'd like to see more music from 80-90's. Tesla, Black and Blue, Quiet Riot, Cinderella, Skid Row (18 and life, please!!), Whitesnake. Even some Queensryche and Aerosmith (not quite the genre). 80-90 is very limited.

No doubt!! We always considered an-chovi a hair band. There was always a million hotties at his concerts.

How about Y&T, one of my favorites. I grew up around the corner from them and used to listen to them play in Dave's parents garage. I think I've seen them 2 dozen times in concert. For those on the East Coast, youtube it. Forever is probably their best song and was way before it's time. Listen to how heavy the guitar is and the double bass, all pre-1980!!!!!!
