I guess what irked me initially was when the guy said "Instead of having the focus on musical authenticity and performance emulation..." because those are the two most distinctive features of the RB franchise.
Also, over at RockBandAide, the head honcho there said that people should think of RB: Blitz more as a "sister" game to the RB franchise. So here's hoping that means the core RB franchise will live to see another day (WITH A GOOD TOUR MODE SERIOUSLY THAT'S ALL I WANT)
I would love these groups in RB: Daft Punk, Ratatat, The Blood Brothers, Oingo Boingo. That's all.
I think your real question is, "now that the SECRET project is finished, will HMX go back to making more Pro Guitar / Pro Bass upgrades each week, for the new releases AND for legacy tracks"?
I'm guessing "no", based on nothing other than my understanding of how much extra work / expense it must be, just to sell it to a hundred people every week.
PSN ID: SilverSpg
XBox GT: FieryNewt5
Total Song Library = 1,010 songs, including ALL games and track packs that can be exported into RB3
There's a ridiculous amount of precedent for 'calm down and look around, guys'.
Witticus: "GeeNef speaks to me like schizophrenia, his words touch me where my priest could reach."
Well it still beats Rock Band: Board Game, which did not export to RB3.
