I sure hope it's not an abstract rhythm game you play on your controller.
Or even a not so abstract, but non instrument style rhythm game you play on your controller.

If it's something you play on your controller, they aren't getting a seller here.
I think music games on a regular controller are boring and dull, always have been.

I will have faith that the people that know what this is wouldn't be expecting us to be excited about a new title that requires us to use the PS3 controller as a "guitar". Unless it really is a retro / throwback version of Amplitude / Frequency, which would at least have nostalgia value.
Did anybody else get hooked on the "Burnout" series? I figured I'd buy ANY title from them, much as I would now buy ANY RB title. But their most recent "download only" title ("Burnout CRASH!") was so cartoony and stripped down ... I still played it, for a while, but man, it does not compare at all to a full copy of the game (even one of the PS2 titles!). And the most recent full, disc game has also been available as a downloaded title from the PSN store for a while, for only $5 more - so it's not like the memory limits make including a full game impossible.
Once again, I'm going to be cautiously optimistic that this new game will not fall into that same category (even if it clearly can't include 60 new songs).
PSN ID: SilverSpg
Total Song Library = 1,010 songs, including ALL games and track packs that can be exported into RB3

Devo - "Smart Patrol/Mr. DNA"
I think that a lot of people are pinning quotes from Harmonix of the next Rock Band iteration (meaning Rock Band 4) to this game, and they are going to be sadly disappointed, since we already know this is not Rock Band 4...
