I've had plenty of regular updates from my new songs.

Interesting little tidbit: My Gameplay will automatically sync with your console even if you change your name, but FB Dashboard won't. I know why this is: Basically, My Gameplay has a link code with the game and FB doesn't.

So...yeah, if you ever change your name on the console be sure to do it on FB as well.

Facebook has a link code. Same one, even.

Sort of. I remember using a code the first time I used it, but when I had to unlink my old GT and link my new one, it did it straight off.

I can't get into the Players section ever since I verified my account. Doesn't matter what computer or browser (FF, Chrome, IE9, IE8, IE6) I use. Rather annoying, as I was looking forward to see how the player match worked.

Edit: Nevermind, I can't get into the players section after unverifying my account.

I like this tool for instantly showing your improvements. It motivates me a lot to get better, bit by bit. Although I´m still a deeply-flawed pro-drummer who hits the wall at high tiers on hard I managed to improve from about 67 to 71,0. Since it´s an average value across all played songs (so far 378 out of more than 800) that seems to mean something. At least it keeps me ambitious to further increase that value as 5-ball and devil tiered songs slowly get in reach!

Best Performance is clearly tied to "Percent of Highest Score", which is why so many of us get "Need You Tonight" (Keys / Pro Keys) selected. But there ought to be some modifier to that variable to take into account the level of difficulty. If you multiplied the "Percent of Highest Score" by "Highest Score", you would just end up with "Your Score", and then everyone would just get the longest and most complex song as their best. I propose that we use "Percent of Highest Score" times the logarithm of "Highest Score". That way, longer and more complex songs still carry a higher weight, but not to such an extreme extent. Calculated this way, my Best Perfomance would be "Debaser", on Vocals, with a score of 5.09 (98.5% * log(148788)). And that's exactly what my "Signature Performance" is right now! Right behind it is "Free Bird" on Vocals, at 4.93 (94.9% * log(157900)). I've re-sung that one a few times, hoping to make it my new Signature Performance, as I felt certain it was really close.

"Need You Tonight" on ProKeys shows up at #24 for me under this new formula. That seems much more reasonable to me.

Try this yourself* and report back what your new Best Performance would be. Does it match your Signature Performance? Is it a song that you feel better represents your Best Performance more accurately than the current one shown on the dashboard? If so, let the devs know, so they can change the formula!

*Easy enough to do if you export all of your solo performances from RockBandScores.com into a CSV file. Open it in Excel, make a new cell in O2 with the formula =(K2/100)*LOG(J2) and copy that all the way down column O for every song. Then sort by column O, descending.

I would love to do this, but I don't swing with Excel. Don't even have a copy. But the current forumla as it stands is obviously flawed, if Need You Tonight a real lame song is showing up as nearly everyone's high score if they played it on PRO keys.

Hope they take your post and do something with it.

EDIT: Attempted to do this with OpenOffice spread sheet but got Err:502 when trying to sort.

Thanks a lot. I would prefer to see any of the above as my "best performance" instead of Need You Tonight.

    Thanks again.
