Checked out my stats and they looked accurate, but then looked at wives and not so much.

So she averages over 2 mil a song and has one gold star.

Did they JUST change the formulas last night? I had an observation which may have been a function of the changed formulas.

Last night I decided to create a standard "warm up" set that included songs I can play for extended periods that had elements that I wanted to practice with. I played the set only once, and my score went up two points (78 to 80). The songs were:

It's My life by No Doubt (1 dot difficulty, 5 star score)
The Passenger by Iggy Pop (1 dot difficulty, 5 star score)
White Wedding by Billy Idol (4 dot difficulty, gold star score)
Stacked Actors by Foo Fighters (2 dot difficulty, 4 star score)

First off, White Wedding is severely overtiered, IMO. It's really only there to help me build my strumming endurance back.

Secondly, for the curious, I have a heckuva time with HOPOs, which is the big thing I wanted to practice.

With both of those said... I found it interesting that a GS on a 4 dot song along with a few miscellaneous 5-stars on low songs was enough to knock me up two points. It does make it tempting to try to "game the system" a bit by playing (and GS'ing) the songs that are overtiered (or, at least, are easy once one has mastered a certain skillset).

Whew, thank goodness! I will admit to being pretty ashamed when I saw my guitar rank at ~45 yesterday. The updated 81 makes me feel a whole lot better

Yes, we made an update to a bug that caused your skill levels to jump up. There was a bug where some five-star songs were showing up as zero (!). That is now fixed and your skills have been adjusted accordingly.
