Guitar straps are the major new feature for the next Rock Band game.

Rock Band Guitar Straps. None of your DLC will port and there will be no songs on the disc just an assortment of guitar straps. Be on the look out for the new DLC of different drum sticks coming soon!

How about this: I agree that the attention to detail in the animations is an important aspect of creating an immersive and enjoyable experience in Rock Band BUT I disagree that if something isn't working the way you want it to that it means that it's broken.

Case in point: we got a super heated support email at the launch of TB:RB because the plane in the intro cinematic was portrayed with historically inaccurate landing gear and the user insisted that we patch the game and issue an apology for our lack of attention to detail. I'm sure it meant a lot to him as an aficionado of vintage aviation components, but 99.9% of the people playing will never notice it.

Further case in point: there are no guitar straps in the Rock Band universe, therefore the entire franchise is a sham and a failure. It's a detail, yes, and I'm sure it seems like a simple thing to people that aren't involved, but it doesn't affect the core game play or even register for the vast majority of people playing our games. If the lack of guitar straps somehow lessens your enjoyment of this music simulation video game then there's likely not much I can say or do to change that.

there's the rock band RPG angle everyone wants. We've all leveled up our magic to the point that we can make our instuments float in the air...

Those two examples are different, because to enact those would be to create entire new animation frameworks and files, which would take a lot of time for something that doesn't have a lot of payoff. Creating basic harmony animations, which I would happily take and run with instead of super complex weaving harmonies like BoRap, is like flicking a few switches in comparison.

All I'm asking you to do is the same thing you've been doing for years.
