[Witticus]

Chiprent made his way closer and closer to the stage as President Luldigg continued to try and prove he knew what he was talking about.

"Good people, we need to send an elite team of scientists to go to the Hayley William Mountains where unspeakable monsters usually hide you know like that movie." President Luldigg explained.

"They all died in that movie!!!" A spectator yelled out.

"That's good with a few more scientists dead we can free up some high paying jobs from our tanking economy, vote Luldigg, vote away unemployment with needless sacrifice." Luldigg explained.

[Witticus]

"Now who would like to volunteer for the obvious suicide mission, preferably someone highly insured and with nothing to lose?" President Luldigg asked as all the villagers looked away and whistled. Chiprent not paying attention climbed up on the stage.

"I'm here, you can all celebrate now!!!" Chiprent yelled as he got up to the podium. The crowd looked baffled at first and then cheered as Chiprent was picked up and paraded through the streets.

[Witticus]

"So... Chiprat?" President Luldigg began, "What kind of skills do you have that would be remotely helpful for defeating an ancient demon?"

"Um, I was trained by Unklewittiky," Chiprent said as the crowd began to murmur with excitement.

"An Unklewittiky apprentice in the flesh!!!" One of the villagers said, "I thought his kind dissapeared or was banned or something."

"Yeah, he even gave me this sheriff badge of approval for completing my training for stealing magical things from Princess Copley!!!" Chiprent said holding up his little plastic gold star.

"Well judging by his file, he definitely has nothing to live for and his house is one of the most valuable properties in the town." An aid explain to President Luldigg.

"He's perfect, we'll use him as a poster boy for the fight and turn his home into a museum when he fails!!!" President Luldigg whispered to the aid as the crowd cheered to Chiprent's gold star.

Ambush story tonight not sure if it will a comedy or not, I kind of make this stuff up as I go along. So we'll figure it out.

Tonight's Story: Shadow of Destiny

Kathlania sat on the patio drinking orange juice reading a book as the sun began to rise on the water. Her eyes lazily glanced across the pages as she began to sip. The wind began to pick up and the little light that was visible from the sunrise began to go away. She looked up and her hand began to tremble. The glass in her hand slipped as it fell to the ground. The glass shatters splashing up in a fiery orange as it splotches across her leg as she begins to run toward the door. A massive fireball begins to come toward the house as she gets to the control panel. She slams the panel as the house begins to rumble and a window shatters. Kathlania gets to the ground and begins to cry as the smoke alarm sounds in the background.

Micagio awakens to the house rumbling as a window next to him shatters and he finds his blankets on fire. He runs over to put out the fire and sees a pair of demonic eyes looking at him and sees his wand begin to glow. The eyes disappear as the houses teleportation mechanism makes it vanish. He grabs his wand as it burns his hands from the touch causing him to scream in pain.

Micagio bandaged up his hand as he found Kathlania lying on the floor shaking. He pulls her up and tries to comfort her at the table as he turns on the radio.

"Jeepster City is in ruins after the mysterious demon attacked it minutes ago. Survivors describe it as, no warning only darkness." The reporter said.

"I saw it..." Kathlania said trying to catch her breath. "It looked at me... Only me... and there was fire."
