    Guitar Hero Relaunch Incoming?

Most likely it's nothing, but the past few days I noticed the guitar hero site has been down for maintenance: http://hub.guitarhero.com/ . It might of been down longer, but I don't frequent it much.

Normally I wouldn't think much of it, but a few things caught me off guard:
    1) The logo. It's the original Guitar Hero logo.
    2) It's not a typical 'site is down' error. It looks intentional, almost like it is preparing for something.

My apologizes if anyone posted this already. No matter how anyone feels about GH, having competition around helped innovate a lot of ideas. Hopefully this is a good sign.

When they cancelled the series, they said they might revive it. Furthermore, on the DLCQuickplay forums I found someone who found a post from the Hero Feed from someone who claimed to have tricked an employee to reveal that there may be another title.

    Found it!

Someone noticed this and posted about it in a thread somewhere a few weeks back...but I'd venture to guess that yes it's in preparation for the relaunch.

Down for a few weeks? Interesting.

This might be a good year for rhythm games. New Harmonix title at PAX, Rocksmith pumping out DLC, possible new Guitar Hero announcement.

Actually it's been down for a few months now. I think it was the middle of January last time I was able to log onto the site.

But there have been rumors swirling around that Guitar Hero will make it's first appearance at E3 this year for the relaunch.

We all just have to wait until E3. Until then, speculate all you want.

I don't know why people keep bringing it to the ROCK BAND site.
