I, too, am all for a mod-created, organized prediction thread with some clues. It was more interesting with the clues, and really, if someone does get it right, if you don't reveal it to be true, no one knows until the official announcement. Also, while some people get upset over their guesses being wrong, I think that would happen with or without clues. And even if your statistics are correct and the thread view count hasn't changed much with the absence of clues, the involvement has died down more than a bit. People view once, predict Muse and leave. It used to be a lot more fun.
What I'm saying is, let the mods have their creative juices put to something that will entertain us every week. I used to look forward to these threads. Now I just graze over and move on to other sites.
