    Cheating or not?

OK. I have finally and officially had enough. At one time I had 7 #1 scores on bass. I was very proud of those scores because I know how hard it is to get them with so many score-whores using optimal paths from Score Hero.
I now have only 3 songs at number 1 and I just feel enough is enough. I used Score Hero to find optimal paths for use in Guitar Hero games for about a month way back when and have never considered using it for Rock Band. I could never get rid of the feeling that I was cheating. My question to you is, Do you look to other sites to find optimal paths or do you just have fun playing the songs and try to improve your scores by yourself? Why do you feel this way? Just curious how many out there are honest enough to admit they feel like they are cheating.

Out there is a fortune waiting to be had. You think I'd let it go? You're mad; you've got another thing comin'.

When you've got 2000+ songs, and can still come back and tell me with a straight face that it's cheating to re-invent the wheel that other people have already invented by personally finding an overdrive path for each one, then maybe we can chat.

My whammy bar is broken, so paths would be impossible even if I somehow got the OD from it.

I just play the game, and if I happen to get a few #1 scores then that's just gravy.

If you found it yourself, good for you. But if you went to Score Hero or another site just to ramp up your scores to get top scores, I feel that is wrong.

I have no idea what your question is really. Also that poll makes ZERO sense. I sing. I really sing. Since I am a guy I can't half ass it as I have noticed many female vocalists do...or are getting high scores on songs...Black Sabbath songs and Metallica songs LOL! (Okay maybe this is harmonix fault since well...just play 5 minutes alone exactly like you should and then make a 11 year old sing it and then tell me who gets the highest score.) Rant over! :P

I fail at understanding optimal OD paths. I even started a thread on scoreheroes about it once, hoping to get an explanation on how to understand the information that is shared there.

Since I didn't grasp it right away (after about ten minutes of trying to figure it out from that thread) I just decided to OD to the best of my abilities (which are meager) and make do.
