Quantity: (this should be good, looking at the songs March is a great month for me)

    08 - 15/18 = 83%
    09 - 34/42 = 81%
    10 - 36/48 = 75%
    11 - 14/19 = 74%
12 - 1/12 = 8% (ouch. HMX can say all they want....something wrong is going on with the DLC this year.)

    Quality:

Really besides 2012 March has been the month of the underrated song...

In 08 we got our first taste of GD, which at the time was underrated for the game
In 09 we got The Way It Shows by Richard Thompson, still the most underrated guitar chart in all of RB.
In 10 we got 2 Mother Hips tracks only a buck each both are very very fun and very underrated and X 01 which is one of the most underrated packs in all of RB.
In 11 we got Death Cab, one of the most underrated bands in all of RB.
In 12 we got......a lot of songs that belong more on WWE than in RB. Lets just pretend 12 didnt happen.

As far as a winner I think 09 pulls it out just barely with 08 and 10 tied for 2nd and 11 in a close third with 12 somewhere over in China still trying to find the starting line.

I really liked 2009. Gotta vote for 2008 though. Boston.
It's only oversaturation if you have to switch discs.

    2008: 6/18 (33%)
    2009: 9/42 (21%)
    2010: 20/48 (42%)
    2011: 12/19 (63%)
    2012: 4/12 (33%)

More in depth, Boston wins, regardless of number. 2010 was Axis, but I regret that somewhat, so 2011 was probably my #2 year, though 2009 has some pretty awesome options as well.

I bought the most songs from 2010 and 2008... but I got to give it to 2010 because of Disturbed

and my least favorite March had to be 2009... we got two albums that I hate

also I can't believe I only bought one songs from March 2011 I liked every song that month but did not buy much... Every Breath You Take, Spill The Wine, and I Go To Extremes are all on my maybe sometime list
    More Ayreon!

Really tough call. "Ten" is one of my all time favorite albums, so that plus SRV is just enough to push 2009 ahead of 2010's Jimi plus White Stripes and 2011's Billy Joel plus Depeche Mode. 2008 finishes after those years for me, in spite of the awesome Boston pack. 2012 is so far in dead last that the entire field has lapped it several times.

    2008: 10/18
    2009: 20/41
    2010: 16/48
    2011: 13/19
    2012: 4/12

I'd give it to 2011 with the Days of Peace pack / Billy Joel.

This year has been the worst for me, far and away. These three song weeks have been killer when I've not been a fan of hardly any of the content.
