    Nope RB1 can be used. It's $5.
    All the others are $10.

Unless you're on the Wii, then only RB2 and Greenday RB can export.

All of the games need a key except RB1 (which just needs the disc). You can technically buy any of the other games used, as long as the code in the manual hasn't been used, but of course it's impossible to know without taking it home and testing it.

So if your local used-games place has a bunch of copies of RB2, say, and you're willing to buy each one individually, check if the code works, and return it if it doesn't, you can certainly do that.

Yeah, for RB1, you can just buy the export key in the store under RBDLC (it's after all the sorting letters in the main list).

Is there any way to export if the code has already been used? I ask because my gf finally found a copy of RB3, and not one GameStop around us has any copies of any version of RB (even GH for that matter). I offered to give her all of my old RB games so she can export, of course she has to pay the fee, which is fine, but is there any way she will be able to if I've already used the codes? In other words, is it possible to obtain/purchase a new code so the games can be exported?
Sorry, I know this thread is nearly a month old, but I didn't want to start a new topic as it fits this discussion.
I only buy what I like, and I play for fun, not score/leaderboard position. Don't like it? Play with someone else, because I really don't care.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't HMX (or maybe some other company up the line) really liberal about giving free codes to people who had the game used?

There was a problem with RB2 codes and EA was giving replacement codes to presumably legitimate original owners of unexported discs.
