This is such an awfully dull band.
Once again 3 tracks, no legacy upgrades and bland modern 2000ish dlc gets released.
This month is easily one of the worst (with upcoming week), 3 weeks with 3-packs of modern bands with nothing else next to them.
    You disappoint me HMX...

I do hope you save all your great announcements/DLC for PAX week.

    Evanescence! Hooray!

    Evanescence Pack 02 First Impressions

Everybody's Fool I already know and love AND IT WAS ON MY SUPER SECRET USL AND IT'S GOING TO BE GODLY ON PRO GUITAR! Incredible guitar and vocals, nothing much else to say.

Lithium's turn! Starts off nice and calm and easy with some awesome keys! Damn! The vocals are really really good and the keys match them. I wish the big KICK was a bit more KICKier, but so far it's doing really well. The song doesn't get much more powerful, which is a shame, but the general mood of it is cool. It reminds me of an Unkindness in a way. The song has so much potential to be amazing, if only it would explode then it would kick all sorts of ass. And if you remember, I was on the fence on the upcoming Unkindness songs, but I'm definitely going to get them. They're amazing, and I'm glad I went back to them. Lithium is similar. Untapped potential that just begs to be popped out with extreme force that would make the juxtaposition make the song amazing.

Last but not least, What You Want!
    O_o
It starts off very strangely, much different than I would expect an Evanescence song to start off. The drums are cool, and the vocals are ehhh, but the guitar that kicks in nice. The vocals are surprisingly weak compared to their other work that I listened to, which is disappointing. The general feel of the song is on the same level as Lithium, except in a different way. It's not afraid to do anything, but the things that it does isn't that pleasant. Heh, the nice violin insertion was a nice touch, I admit. Still, the song isn't really that good, but oh well!

All in all... This week is only going to be only Everybody's Fool, but whatevs because EVERYBODY'S FOOL IS AMAAAAAAZIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
Thank HMX for top tier triple A DLC! Hooray!

I don't think anyone has said it stopped being good, the whole variety thing just hasn't included very much of it the past 13 weeks. Everyone who is a bigger fan of one genre or era will be heard from when that happens. 5 metal songs in 13 weeks and you'll hear from metal people wanting more and disappointed when each subsequent allegedly means a better chance at it, and they end up disappointed again. It's not a tough concept to grab. 3 of those songs were CCR which is a very stylized type of music. You can understand that a lot of people at looking at just about all year without something that hits their wheelhouse. That is disappointing to them and certainly worth mentioning at this point.

Now that there are no hints in the prediction thread, we're told to guess things for a reason including "there hasn't been ____ released in a while." Whether it's country or 70s or metal or whatever, people can be disappointed without claiming everything else sucks.

Both those Doors songs are ok/average (which are the better songs of the pack). Not planning on buying them any time soon.
I bought AATW and its pro upgrade, but haven't played it yet, but I imagine it would be pretty great.
And although I was gifted the latest pack of both Queen + RHCP and don't plan on buying the other songs, let alone their upgrades.

Props for AATW, but ehhhhh to your other choices.
