Looks cool, I will look forward to playing it
Ehh, looks okay, not for me, I'll buy to export the tracks to RB3

Just had a terrible day at work; withholding judgment until my mood improves.
At the very least I will buy it for the tracks. Could be a fun way to play when I don't feel like busting out the instruments.
Weird Al Yankovich DLC please?
My first impression is I need to see more of the setlist. I like half of what has been shown. I won't buy it if those are the only songs I like.

It looks like garbage. Needles to say I was disappointed to see that THIS is what Harmonix had announced after all this anticipation. I KNEW it would not be Rock Band 4 (they said so) but I did not think it would be something that looks this terrible. Of all the things they could have done (The Beatles: Rock Band 2 preferably) they chose to do this. Wow, what a disappointment.![]()
HMX, don't let the negative comments bring you down, I think this is one of the best moves you could've made to please everyone. The new songs even export which is freakin awesome. I love it

It doesn't matter if you love Harmonix or capital H.M.X.
This game probably cost them 5% of what it would cost to make a Beatles Rock Band 2. I don't think that's hyperbolic, though I will admit to pulling that specific a number out of thin air. Point is I don't think a project like this is something that they're doing in place of a AAA project, it's clearly something that they're doing in place of doing nothing, and I welcome it.
Oh great. Maybe with this new game they can release some downloadable content for a short time and then toss the game aside and pretend it never existed. JUST like The Beatles: Rock Band! (although that is probably more Apple Corps fault.)
This is honestly the best way that they can draw in more of an audience. If they released it on the smart phones it could probably compete with the Tap-Tap series.

I picked the fourth option because I'm going to have to buy another console just to play this game. Ever since I borrowed Frequency/Amplitude from my co-worker a couple of years ago, I've wanted to see a resurrection of that gameplay on modern consoles with DLC and possibly online multiplayer. Now that it's here, I'm super excited for the game itself but disappointed that I won't get to use my old DLC. I'd like to be able to use my old DLC for the complete experience without re-buying all of it again as well. I'm hoping for a Wii U version, since that seems like my only reasonable chance of having my cake and eating it too. I'll probably end up caving before then if the reviews are ridiculously good, however.
