The demo comes out the same day the full game does. Every XBLA game has a free trial version, it's required. And it comes out the same day as the regular game. Arcade games never have demos before they're released.

Dang, I was hoping to get a few more Pro upgrades with Blitz. I'd like to eventually get upgrades for Jessie's Girl and Always.

Uno Rush technically got a demo before it released, if you count the demo that was included in Official Xbox Magazine. I'll still get Blitz no matter what, but it would be nice to try out the game before its release date.

I am sure i'm not the only one to notice this but when you look at the slayer downloads in the game market place they now have the BLITZ art instead of RB3
pretty cool and it says compatible with RB3 and Blitz when you look at more info for the download

The tracklist SO FAR is looking quite promising. I like both those Quiet Riot and the Rick Springfield tracks. The foster the people track wouldn't be so bad if I didn't keep hearing it all of the time. The average UK radio station plays that about 3-5 times a day!

I hope the setlist continues to be good, i'm actually looking forward to playing it. At the moment the closest thing to this is Audiosurf on PC, which isn't quite as fast based but still fun for a quick blast.

Heheh - I'm hearing that! I'd still also like Fun - 'We Are Young' & Gotye - 'Somebody The I Used to Know' though; another two songs on heavy rotation at the moment.

Did anyone see the tweet from Rock Band that said Pro upgrades weren't happening on release of Blitz, but a "strong possibility of upgrades later"? I don't know how to link specific tweets or I would link it. This should be added to the thread.

All the tracks play at regular volume. If you play well, the track you are playing is louder than the others. If you miss notes the volume of that track drops way down, and we play miss noises. – Forum Post

Consider this only a rumor, but I saw on a gaming website somewhere (forgot the URL) that the release date is August 31, 2012. However, this date was highlighted in red. I'm not sure if that means it was a guess or what. Maybe the gaming site figured that date is like the last day of summer since September is often associated with the start of Autumn and school. So, yea, consider that just a rumor.
