Ah, I see. I kinda had a feeling Sayburr was a modder since he did that Harmonix Q&A thread last year.

Nope, I barely have time to scratch my buttocks, never less screw with my xbox, modding it so I can create crappy versions of songs. Sure, there are songs I would like to have in the game, but the 1060 songs I do have are plenty and all I had to do to get them was give Harmonix a little money.

I started the Q&A to help the community out. HMX was answering the same questions over and over and over… someone from the community suggested they start a Q&A thread… HMX said they wouldn’t have time to keep up with it… so I took it on my own to start it up in hopes it would help them in some way. It got stickied and I try to update it when I see someone from HMX post some new piece of information. I hope people find it useful…

Just to make you feel a little better, The community team of HMX knew I made a post in the prediction thread, HMXPope even replied to it… HMX also has the amazing power to delete posts and threads they find offensive or counter-productive… it was never deleted, so I guess I am still “OK in their book”.

Also... I hate leaks like that. I hope HMX figures out who it was and is able to take some kind of legal action against that person. I would much rather HMX have control of their destiny than know what is being released two month early... it takes away from the fun of guessing and trying to interpret HMX's tweets and posts.

I know nobody cares about this, but if anyone is vaguely curious, if you look at this list in the light of critical opinion and historical status, you get:

2 A list acts (with, at best, C-list song choices)
5 B list acts (being generous)
18 non-entities

If you look from the point of view of "popularity" it's wildly different, of course. So a great list from that point of view, and I'm sure it makes many people happy.

The oldest song on this setlist is "Jungle Boogie", which I strongly suspect is not one of the A-list artists peter is implying.

(I'm not sure what his B-listers are, but his A-listers are most assuredly Queen and Elton John).

HMXExposed's "threats" were pretty funny. He also threatened to expose the insidious secret behind the fifth title update (which wasn't a big secret...amongst other new features, it resolved an issue which modders/customizers had been exploiting). If *I* knew that, it can't be that much of a secret.

It's not like the official announcement mentioned some legal and security tweaks or anything, some of which are obvious upon starting the game. But we all know they downplayed that stuff to protect themselves from... something... and not because most people don't care about that stuff.

Not sure why you quoted me but I was being very sarcastic. I have no decade bias. I even have very little genre bias for that matter.

I'm very happy to see that a lot of people are very happy to see Barenaked Ladies coming to RB (with non-holiday-related material). Even people who aren't really excited about it are at least closer to being neutral that expressing total hatred about the song. Hopefully it leads to some BNL DLC in the future, because I've been waiting years. Here's to hoping for a 6-pack or more!
