This doesn't seem worthy of a new thread, but I wanted to mention for trivia purposes that the percentage of songs with keys on Blitz is apparently the same as the percentage of songs with keys on RB3. According to the song pages, Blitz has 19/25 (76%) and RB3 had 63/83 (76%).

So Cult of Personality is the only song that's devil-tiered on something other than vocals and full band (guitar)? Well, okay, I guess I can buy that, though I swear seeing more red dots in the Blitz gameplay in those streams. Eh, must be it's own independent rankings.

Seeing how the rankings worked, and apparently Wicker Man was devil tiered on guitar, bass, and drums in the game, I'm willing to be that Spoonman is the all-devil song in Blitz (and it'll be mostly Nightmare with devil vocals in RB3).

That's fine with me. I don't like devil-tiered songs since I'm so terrible at Rock Band in the first place.

    Two possible takeaways:

    1) Might explain why it took 5 years to get Collective Soul on the platform

    2) Perhaps "Album Collective Soul Rock Band Re-Record" means that they'll be some more stuff down the line from that session.

Yeah i wouldn't doubt #2 in the least bit, i mean why go to a studio and rerecord just one song? They probably rerecorded atleast 3 others.

Yeah. I'd bet on "The World I Know", "December" and "Better Now". I really hope we get "Better Now" sometime soon.

    I'm hoping for "Breathe."
It's all right. Everything will work out fine.

This information is already in the OP, but I thought I would post it again since HMXHenry had to answer this question elsewhere:

Q: How does the download work and can we delete Blitz if all we want are the songs?

A: The way Blitz works is, you download the game and then the game prompts you to download a separate file with the 25 song soundtrack. This helps keep the size of the release low, while also keeping the tracks separate so they are compatible in both RB Blitz and RB3. That also means that you could technically delete the game file (BUT WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO) and still have access to those songs in RB3. Basically, it's a 25 song pack of DLC that you're only able to get by buying Blitz.

But... this post I will be adding:

Fair warning now: the first Blitz load for people with lots of DLC will take a while. When Blitz first recognizes your DLC library and "Blitzifes" the songs it will take a few minutes if you're rocking a solid amount of content. Future load ups will be much quicker, but that first one may seem unusually long.
Pushing 50 and still rockin' like a teen, only now I can afford it and it takes longer to recover.

good to know Sayburr. I was wondering how the "blitzification" would work, makes sense. Hopefully it is just a once off and saves it as some sort of "blitz" file that is adjusted when you get new DLC.
