All RB3 songs will be playable in Blitz?

Oh god, I know it's probably a mistake but I hope so.

Ugh, that's a total slip of the tongue. Initially read "all songs compatible with RB3 will be compatible with Blitz" but in editing down to 140 characters it clearly lost a lot of important info. Status is still the same as we've been reporting: all DLC and exports that work in RB3 should work in Blitz, but the RB3 on disc tracks will not.

Hey, that wouldn't even be summer any more! Even if it came out on the last Tuesday of summer (9/18?), that would indeed be a long time to wait. But whatever, I can be patient & keep playing the other Rock Band games in the meantime.

I could have sworn I saw a mid-August release date for this game but whether that is actually going to be the case i'm not too sure.

This is most likely another gaming website that filled in a date for the sake of filling in a date. Much like the assumption on the other gaming site I saw where it posted a release date of 8/31/2012. I wouldn't put much credibility in anything posted on these gaming sites concerning a release date unless it was posted by an official Harmonix website or unless the release date was announced in some other way by an official representative of Harmonix.
