well these are awesome... but now there are 3 songs in the setlist I dislike (for those who want to know they are Shine, A Little Less Sixteen Candles, and Raise Your Glass)

but the rest of the setlist is awesome!

    Thank you HMX!!
Only bad part of this: no pro mode.

I hope it ends up like Rock Band 3: up to the brim with complete unknowns, but absolutely mind blowingly awesome.

I am really stoked for this - even more with new songs.

Yeah I want to play Blitz itself, and the songs as a track pack for RB3 is fantastic.

I tend to get songs for the game I like - whether an old favorite, or songs I've never heard but like right away. Out of the 15 I have purchased the CD/MP3 etc of 10 of them (showing that I like those songs for sure) - and of the other 5, I like every one of them.

This is the first time (since Lego I think) that I like every song on the pack. I 1 lightened 1 song on the metal track pack. So the game is a great bonus, but at this point I have 15 songs I would buy as DLC anyway, and they will be cheaper this way.

I am very much a happy camper right now.
4 singles - 2 I'll get (Queensryche and one Staind).

Love the setlist...especially WICKERMAN!!!! The only artist I dislike is Great White and that is because I'm from rhode Island and every time I hear thier music I think of the tradgedy that happened at The Station nightclub here...

Shout, Cult of Personality and Wicker Man alone would be more than enough reasons for me to pick this up, and Shine's a fun nostalgia song. Plus, songs like Once Bitten, Twice Shy and Still Standing might not be favorites musically, but are bound to be a ton of fun on keys. Definitely a big step up from the first bunch of songs, where I had three 'mehs' and a dislike (Blink). The only songs that I really dislike in this bunch are FoB and Pink, which brings the total up to three, balanced out by the three songs that I'm excited about. Not bad at all.

So I love all of these songs that were just announced except for Pink's "Raise Your Glass" and that is awesome!!!

Hell to the yes on Wicker Man, my favorite modern Iron Maiden song!!!!

I also love One Week and Shout and the Cult of Personality, these are some seriously awesome picks!!!

These along with Always, Jessie's Girl, Bang Your Head, Pumped Up Kicks and Once Bitten, Twice Shy will be amazing on Rock Band 3!!! Thanks HMX for the awesome setlist!!! Just make sure to put Who Can it Be Now? and Take Me Home Tonight on it!!!

Definitely a good setlist already. I'm personally really excited for the Iron Maiden, Elton John, Tears for Fears, Shinedown, Foster the People, and Living Colour tracks (I would buy each on their own as DLC). Almost all of the other tracks are good too, and are some I definitely wouldn't mind having in my library (even if I wouldn't pay $2 for em, like Barenaked Ladies and Collective Soul). Only song I could happily do without is the P!nk song. Not even because it's pop, but I'm just tired of that song and don't think it's that great. It also doesn't fit in with any other songs on the setlist.

On a side note, I'm bittersweet about The Wicker Man being the Maiden song chosen. On one hand, Wrathchild seemed like the most-likely pick for the game, and for good reason. It was on Killers, the only of their first seven albums with no songs in the game. Plus it was the only Maiden song in a GH game not in RB, and the only one with no master. Add the fact that it's short and not too challenging, and you've got a solid pick, so I'm disappointed it's not Wrathchild.

On the other hand, The Wicker Man is pretty ****ing awesome in its own right. It'll be the only newer Maiden song we have, so this is a good chance to bring it in the game. Plus, it's just a good song period, and will be another to introduce to those who have learned about them through Rock Band.

From here, I'm hoping we get songs from Coldplay, Maroon 5, Young the Giant, fun., Foo Fighters, and Three Days Grace (being realistic).
    Wishlist:
    [X] Coldplay
    [ ] Arctic Monkeys
    [ ] Arcade Fire
    [X] More August Burns Red
And any more songs from past GH games!

Yeah, when are we gonna find out what Foo Fighters song we're getting?

Kinda joking, but I love them, so I'm hoping we do.

I posted this in the Maiden thread, (or here, can't remember) but it really makes sense they used a newer/Bruce one for a standalone game considering they're getting masters from the current band/management. Having a Di'Anno track featured as a master-track single in a standalone game doesn't make too much sense for them. I think we were fortunate to get one in the pack. I see that as them throwing those fans a bone. It's arguably his best too. That's pretty darn good for pre-Bruce fans. Also it being a newer one also makes a lot of sense. 2 of 7 Di'anno songs skews the balance a bit too much considering their long career. The balance in these 7 songs between classics, modern-era, and tour tie-ins is very good. All bases covered. (well except Blaze, but no loss)

The return of Elton John and Barenaked Ladies to the platform makes me really excited for possible future DLC, and seeing Shout, One Week, Shine, and Cult of Personality on the list is pretty cool too on it's own.

I'm surprised at the choices for Elton John, AAR, and Iron Maiden (I was expecting Wrathchild like most people here), but yeah it's a solid setlist so far!
