Am i the only one who is cringing at all american rejects new sound? I thought they were an OKAY pop rock band before, but what the hell happened? LOL

I like the first two songs on their new album (Someday's Gone and Beekeeper's Daughter), but I agree that the rest sounds terrible

I'm Still Standing is probably the best Elton song for the game because it is fast paced and involved on every instrument (only Elton song I know with a guitar solo)

Indeed. The solo on I still standing is pretty short as well.

I'm still waiting for The World I Know by Collective Soul. It's a must for Rock Band after all these grunge/similar grunge/post grunge songs we got.

There are actually less songs than I thought I would like, now that these are announced, but I'm actually stoked for the Blitz gameplay, rather than looking at this as a glorified track pack, as many people seem to be doing.

Almost. They(I don't think an employee said it) said with the release of Wheels and Word Forward, we had every single on Greatest Hits. Skin and Bones wasn't the single version(it was a live version), and we also don't have the acoustic Everlong for obvious reasons.

I was just thinking this soundtrack could really use some delicious cake. It would really sweeten the 90s offerings.

As for aar, I agree that I really liked their old sound, but if that song is indicative of their new sound then I guess I'll just move along. They are no longer my dirty little secret. It is really just giving me hell but I'll swing to a new band.

I'm digging some of the songs. "Cult of Personality" is a great song by itself, but now it takes on a bigger purpose since it is C.M. Punk's theme song.

I thought I'd be the only person to feel that way. I thoroughly plan to drop to one knee, tap my wrist, and then yell "IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!" the first time I sing this song.

EDIT: Can any offical HMX folks tell us whether or not the Malcolm X (I believe) intro / JFK Outro to "Cult of Personality" will make it to the game?

Edit 2: Surprised by the amount of love for Shout and the amount of hate for P!nk. That song is, for me, one of the most "rockish" of her songs, and not in a good way. I actually thought people would like it, but it may simply be hating on P!nk without listening to the music...
