Well yeah... is it that big of a difference? I guess it's just my poor eye sight that doesn't see much of a difference. Still for $8 it's good to just hold you over until you get an expensive one.

The difference between SD and HD is huge if you've been on HD for an extended period of time.

SD and HD do not compare. I know some people who don't notice the difference which astounds me.

It took me a long time to give up my CRT. The brightness! The contrast! Zero lag! OMG zero lag, that is SO huge. It took a while for me to be able to watch a BluRay without noticing that the lips weren't quite matching the sound. And of course Rock Band can just be set at 0 lag, set and forget. I was holding out for an HD-CRT for a long, long time, I didn't care that it would weigh a ton (if I could even find one for sale).

But my 50" plasma is so damn beautiful. I've had it for almost 2 years, and still, every time I turn it on: WOW

Small, cheap HDTVs? Eh. I'd rather have my "old" CRT.

For me - I've never spent more than $200 on a TV. So when I see HDs hit that range (and some are) I plan to get one. We also have small space so about the biggest we could get is a 27-28" one. 30" wouldn't fit.
4 singles - 2 I'll get (Queensryche and one Staind).

Rear projection screens. I have one. They have issues, but lag wise, they're the same as CRTs.
