That'd have bothered me more if there wasn't just a single RB2 song I never want to see again (unless we're counting the 9-pack, then there's two). On Blitz, there's easily 10 to 12 songs I would never, ever, ever want if I had any way to get a) the five or six I do want and b) possibly the game, without them.
You aren't able to buy RB2 tracks individually on Wii. You could select which tracks you wanted to download, but you paid the full $10 export cost regardless if whether you downloaded one song or all of them. If Wii users are able to cherry-pick Blitz tracks and don't have to buy a full pack, that would be a different scenario.
Not that I care. As a former Wii user, I definitely feel for them being stuck on the less-powerful console. They could use a bone thrown their way at this point, considering everything else they've gotten short-changed on.

"People would complain" is the worst reason not to do something. People are going to complain no matter what.
Then what was the point of your reply (other than a chance to be GNF, the resident smug smartass?) This whole issue is about cost. Yeah, nobody is going to care if Wii users can cherry-pick what they want to download after they buy a pack (they are very limited in storage options anyway, thanks to the Wii only supporting SD cards,) but they might care if Wii users can buy only the songs they want for less than the cost of Blitz on other platforms.

Tough ****. We get a game with it. They don't.
Besides, how is it ANY different from say, Rock Band 3 being $20 On Demand on Xbox, but discs for PS3 seem to be going for around $30? It isn't! Different consoles have different things going for them, and quite honestly, if you're that up in arms about Blitz cherry-picking, everyone who wants the songs they want for cheaper can switch to Rock Band Wii and tell us how much better it is for the $7 they saved on Blitz songs!
Sometimes, it's ok to feel like you're on the wrong end of a deal. Saying Wii users have the advantage isn't one of those times, because they get shafted on everything ever. Do you want to save a few bucks on Blitz songs in an engine that has shoddy OD activation? Doubt it. Can't wait for those Pro upgrades down the line with your Squier glitch? Doubt it. Excited to play those songs online with no characters? Doubt it.
So oh no, a theoretical plan that may or may not exist ends with Wii owners spending LESS than $15 on LESS than 25 songs. What an unfair world for us Xbox/PS3 folk.
