If they release this as regular DLC for the Wii, there will be outrage from the (far larger) PS3 and XBox gamers. "I have to pay $15 when all I want is 'Metal Health'? But Wii can just buy that one song for $2. WTH!? I hate Harmonix."

If they release this as a pack-only item, what do they charge? $15? Then they get moaning about, "Why do I have to pay the same price when I don't get the Blitz game! It should be like $10 for the Wii. The Wii gets screwed again. WTH?! I hate Harmonix." Fine. They charge $10. All the XBox and PS3 folks go, "I don't want that stupid Blitz game. Why can't I just get the songs for $10, like the Wii? WTH! I hate Harmonix." Do they charge $20? Then they get moaning about, "Why do I have to pay more when I don't get the Blitz game! It should be $15, like the other consoles. The Wii gets screwed again. WTH?! I hate Harmonix."

I think Harmonix will make an effort to get these songs on the Wii, but there are a lot of landmines that they will need to step around to not have this blow up in their face.

Damn straight I'll be upset if Wii gets to a-la-carte the Blitz setlist. There's only 5 songs on Blitz I know I want (and about half the setlist will be 1-lightered), so getting them for $10 would beat the pants off paying $15 for them. As far as the game itself, well, we'll see.

I think the best solution is to release Blitz for the Wii U and this Friday announce that Wii users can export RB1, Lego and Track Packs to RB3.
    Wishlist (possible artists):
    [4] The Killers
    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
    [9] The Offspring

I am sure if they do release this as DLC for Wii, we will have to buy the whole pack! It would make no sense to release them individually! I would buy the lot for 1500 Wii points! That is only 60 points per song! That sounds like a great deal to me, even if we never get the Blitz game!
Wii wants RB1 and L:RB export to RB3!!!!

It's bad enough Wii users can't get any more RBN, or much of the export packs or contests. They should at least let the Wii users pick their own songs, and not have to buy the whole pack. The Wii users have it hard enough.

yea this may sound harsh but they choose the Wii the system with the east power the manufacturer who is the least willing to allow other companies access to information on the system (like patch games etc...) I know some of the Wii users are on Wii mainly due to their parents so you cant do much about that but still.....

I think it would be best to just release the game for Wii U, or release a pack that can only be purchased on its own for a reduced price to the Blitz game. A retail disc version is out of the question this late in the console's lifecycle.

I'm kind of disappointed that most Wii owners are only demanding the songs and not the game, too. Everyone says that I should switch consoles to play, but the problem is that I've invested too much in instruments, games, and DLC to really want to switch, especially for what is supposed to be a small downloadble game.

I don't care if we have to pay $15 for 25 songs or if we are able to cherry pick which of those 25 we want. I just hope we get those songs as dlc for RB3 like the other systems are able to. And hey, 25 songs at $15 is a bargain, even if I won't play some as much as others. I'll at least play all of them once if I have to buy them all.

honestly, i'd buy the pack at full price if it's necessary

BTW: The only reason we're not asking for the game is because we know there are technical limitations that don't allow it. DLC and exports are a whole other story.

I would gladly pay for these songs for my Wii. I would gladly pay full price for the tracks.

In order to get such a variety of strong hits, including recent hits, Harmonix has done some brilliant negotiating in a time when the music genre is "dead".
I would love the opportunity to show my thanks & support in WiiPoints.
