How it handles DLC storage may still be an issue.

Until I see/hear it works fine, I won't assume anything. Particularly with the Wii and compatibility.

It's like the hardware compatible PS3, there are still a few games that don't work right either because of controller issues, or other unforeseen issues.

GH1, GH2 and GH80s are examples of these. You can only use the PS2/PS3 controllers for those games, NOT the guitars. Of course I'm talking about the old 60GB PS3 as for the later ones there's no backward compatibility.

About the Wii U console, I didn't watch yesterday's pre-E3 Wii U livestream which was solely about the console so maybe that kind of situation was discussed.
    Wishlist (possible artists):

    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
    [9] The Offspring

I just...really hope we get the Blitz songs as DLC somehow. The setlist is great so far, and it won't be fair that I won't be able to play Shout, one of my most-wanted RB songs.

Not really. DSi got a 'channel' to move things over to a 3DS with.

Yes, but they both are still using the same type of media. The Wii-U will possibly have an HD option (I think a USB HD attachment option for more storage), and there's a question of if that will work with RB3 or not (because, you know, Nintendo makes you build your own drivers, which is why you couldn't use SDHC cards in the Wii till they allowed it, and no previous games could get patched to fix it).

I'm not saying DLC won't port, I'm just curious if it will work and how (if you'll be able to use the HD).

Yeah... Nintendo will make sure their first party stuff works (mostly) but beyond that it's a total crapshoot, especially when it comes to custom peripherals and downloaded add-ons. There's no way of knowing whether or not it'll work

If the first party controllers work, I don't see why licensed third party controllers that connect the same way wouldn't. It's only the GameCube stuff that was taken out.
