well, we are getting more Smash Mouth now... unfortunately, they are both cover songs.... and one of them is absolutely terrible. one of the most disappointing weeks in a long time... what the heck is with HMX consistently getting good bands but bad song choices?

I like that both songs were not requested at all in this thread. proving HMX does not listen to us.

I don't like "I'm A Believer" thanks to Shrek. However, I would also like "Then The Morning Comes" and pretty much anything else off Astro.

this week was not "okay". their cover of "Why Can't We Be Friends" is terrible. it's so bad it's intolerable. I've tried a lot to even listen to it all the way through and I just can't... it's that bad. At least their cover of "Can’t Get Enough of You Baby" is good. I will be buying that. but really, "okay" does not cover how crappy this week will be... even the fact that The Offspring is getting shafted sucks. both bands deserve a pack. neither band deserved crappy songs as singles. all it will do is hurt DLC sales and show HMX those bands don't sell but the numbers will be lies... and in the long run, it's the song choices that cause us to not get more songs... eff that.

This thread had 13 posts before today, most of which didn't have any actual requests, so if it was the sole source for Harmonix' DLC choices, we wouldn't be getting Smash Mouth at all. "Can't Get Enough of You Baby" was a big enough hit to be one of those covers I didn't know was a cover for years, and it was requested in the first post.
