The response so far to Sworn to Oath's debut song in Rock Band : Last Call has been so great that the band is moving forward with their second offering!

Here's a quick peek at their new song Stand Alone coming to Rock Band and Rock Band Blitz later this summer!

Announcements (in no particular order), here I go! To start off, this band has been gaining some awareness lately with the release of their second album, "Out Of The Darkness," and for really good reasons. This group of talented individuals are producing the closest thing to a female fronted Iron Maiden that I've ever heard. The band is A Sound of Thunder, and they are going to bring two tracks to the Rock Band Network! What tracks? Well, the band is hosting a poll on their Facebook page to decide, so go and vote!

Next up is a band that is much less known. Combining catchy synth riff with driving drum beats and thick bass grooves, this band really crafts a sound of their own. The name of this band is Civil Civic, and they're going to be bringing several tracks to the RBN. Seriously, don't blow this one off, these guys are pretty sweet.

Following this up is another unknown artist. Releasing music as part of the Breakcore scene, his tracks feature elements from practically every electronic genre imaginable (except techno). The artist is Hurtdeer, and he will be bringing a number of tracks to the RBN, including the 176 BPM "Soul Caught in a Bear Trap." Drummers beware, this song (and others from him) will be insane.

I went to Harmonix and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Instead, they gave me a cheese pizza and told me that I could buy one pepperoni slice every week.

Hello! Today's I'll be announcing two independent artists, found thanks to JoeScorpion here on the forums!

First up is Australian hard rock group CASCADE with their new single "Circles," a fast-paced, fun song with plenty of every instrument to go around. Hailing from Sydney, they bring a mix of alternative and hard rock, and are a force to be reckoned with.

Stay tuned for another, more "unique to Rock Band" artist, with a gamepla
    y video.
    Other profiles: LiveHomeVideo, Gigakoops

The TAG guys are absolutely awesome at what they do and all the songs get checked by the band for accuracy.

We are currently on hiatus, Never say never though. That being said ... It's announcement time...

Myself and Marsphoenix are proud to announce MORE PSYCHOSTICK! The next song we will be bringing to the network is "Political Bum" from their new album "Space Vampires VS Zombie Dinosaurs in 3D". Look for this song to hit the store around June / July along with another, Unannounced song from them.

We'll be back next month to drop the other one
    Congrats on the marriage!

And Political Bum is an EXCELLENT choice!!! Should be incredibly fun.
8/9/11 (Def Leppard) will be marked as the best day in RB history for me. HMX, major thanks for all this amazing DLC you put out!

So, not a fan of insane, over the top, impossible to play music? Want something to chill out to after playing all these heavy, fast songs? Well, you're in luck, because my next announcement is for an artist who specializes in chill beats and intricate, yet simple soundscapes When you play one of Community Restoartion's tracks, you'll be able to have on of the chillest Rock Band experiences ever.

    Targetted Individual
    More TBD

    Soundcloud

Up next is an artist who makes music that can only be defined as "Technical Death Electro-Jazz." Combining Jazz piano and horns over authentic chiptune synths and blasting death metal influenced beats, this artist creates aural soundscapes that will almost literally blow your mind. Although you've never heard of them, Realm of Mind is sure to impress you with the six tracks he's bring to the RBN (audio links below, no previews available, yet).

    Fall of The Empire
    Violet Sky
    The Evolver
    They Came From The Future
    Lost Wonders
    Empty Journal

At this point you might be thinking "This is a lot of metal/eletronic bands, and those aren't really my thing." Well, then you might be interested in the next band. This very little known, but extremely talented musician creates a breed of lo-fi alternative rock that draws heavily on influences of the Americana culture. Bringing three tracks to the RBN is The Static Din!

    LakeShore Lust
    In The Cool Blue Light
    The Ebenezer Gospel Spectacular

    Soundcloud

Many people who use these forums regularly have had songs release; Gigakoops, A Talking Fish, and Sky Pie, among others. Well, now there's a new name to add to the list of forum goers with songs released, also forum regular Dangimarocker brings several songs from his The Ravens of Byiva project to the RBN! Numerous soon to be released tracks will be coming. Until then, you can check out some of his stuff at the link below.

The Earth will shake at this next announcement.

The only band that dares to be as awful as possible is back for more!

You might remember them from such timeless classics like Motorcide and Molten Death, but now Man Parts are back with their most audacious song to date.

We bring you the majesty that is...

These threads are like going to Bonnaroo or Ozzfest. Seeing so many awesome bands that I've never heard of. Loving Skeletonizer!

This looks like a hoot on harmonies with all the "Allllllllllll myyyyyyyyyyyyy friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiends" stuff. On a nitpicky note, at 2:25 "dessert" is spelled wrong.

    What... the hell.... was that?

I guess this is played as Solo vox in the video, but that sure sounds like different voices in the "two three five three four six" part - will those be charted to separate harmony parts?
