People have asked before "How long until we have every band's discography in the game?" Well, now I can say that we are officially one band closer to that goal. Bringing their entire discography to the game is underground instrumental band Damascus. This band draws influences from both progressive rock and math rock, creating a spacey, but coherent musical experience.

Salutations, Distant Satellite! Album (the "Hymn" tracks will not be coming for undisclosable reasons)

This next band is starting to get a sort of cult following, but is still criminally unknown. Taking This Town Needs Guns style Math Rock and combining it with some Post-Hardcore influences, The Speed of Sound in Seawater is going to bring some really amazing music to the RBN! Vocalists should look into this too, as this is one of the best vocal groups I've announced so far.

Wanting an announcement for a more, well, unique genre of music? How about Psychobilly? Okay, Psychobilly it is! Bringing Psychobilly to the RBN is the Texas band Klax! Formerly known as The Ghost Storys, this band makes fast paced rokcabilly music that will particularly stick out on the RBN.

    Reverb Nation

This particular announcement isn't for a new band, as I already announced this artist in my thread, but it can't hurt to share this again (especially considering that I now have all the stems). A genre of music that is underrepresented in Rock Band, but still regularly requested is Jazz. Now, to sort of remedy this, how about nine tracks from a Jazz composer? Coming to the RBN is nine tracks from Jazz composer Diederik de Jonge!

I have a couple more announcements that just came together very recently, so it'll take me a bit to make some decent write-ups.
I went to Harmonix and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Instead, they gave me a cheese pizza and told me that I could buy one pepperoni slice every week.

First up is Australian hard rock group CASCADE with their new single "Circles," a fast-paced, fun song with plenty of every instrument to go around. Hailing from Sydney, they bring a mix of alternative and hard rock, and are a force to be reckoned with.

Stay tuned for another, more "unique to Rock Band" artist, with a gamepla

This is our second to last announcement of the day and it's a doozy!

This is one of the bands we announced WAAAAAAAAAAY back at the start of TAG and one thing or another always seemed to prevent us from moving forward on it.

Well that is no longer the case, and I'm happy as hell to announce that we're working with thrash metal pioneers ONSLAUGHT!

We'll be bringing their brain crushing song Godhead to Rock Band and Rock Band Blitz later this summer!

Saw it. One of the half-dozen things that's caught my ear so far.

Someone should do a summary post of this beast. Seems like a crazy number of bands/songs being announced today. A summary by genre would be doubly awesome.

Yeah, it would be cool if someone could make one (I did one for the last thread, but the computer I'm on doesn't have sound, so I can't really sort them by genre).
