Ah, I was not aware of this.

I remember at the time the speculation was because of Dennis DeYoung's involvement and never heard your explanation before.

That bodes well then for an original.
Still waiting for an 80's Hair Band pack of NUMEROUS artists.

Definitely the idea at the time, but earlier on the forums, some guy talked with Styx's...manager? Maybe.

Best Blitz list I've seen yet. Gosh, I hope Metropolis makes it!
Friday, Dec 2nd, marks the greatest day of my RB life when they first announced the last 9-pack of Queen. HMX is my best friend

First off, Always by Blink-182 came out in 2003. Not the 1990s.

For some reason, I'm assuming Rock Band Blitz is going to appeal to a really casual audience. So, at least to me, that means we're not going to get any 10-minute long epics (i.e. no Bat Out of Hell or that Dream Theater track), nothing too plodding and boring (no Zombie), and nothing too heavy or "scary" (no Black Dahlia Murder or Killswitch). Then again, this is just my assumption and it's COMPLETELY unfounded. Just kind of a hunch.
    775 Tracks: RB + RB2 + LRB + AC/DC + GDRB + Blitz + 22 RBN + 423 DLC

Again, this setlist is completely random, and is not based on anything other than songs that are possible to get and aren't on Rock Band yet.
