Billy Joel's "It's Still Rock and Roll" is not a classic duet. Neither is Santana's "Smooth" (only Rob Thomas sings).

Rest of the list looks pretty good at quick glance.

You can count the Beasties songs as "duets" (well, actually they are three vocal parts).

Actually It's Still Rock And Roll To Me is charted as a true duet in the game

2112 is charted like a duet in places, even though it's technically the same vocalist for both parts.

The only part where it is like that is in "Presentation". And since "Presentation" can't be played separately from "Discovery" and "Oracle: The Dream", I didn't think it really counts.

Who else is Billy Joel singing with on that song? If the masters included two separate vocal stems (both with Billy Joel on them)...that's kinda silly to keep them separated instead of mixing them together, no? Probably 90% of every song ever produced has some kind of vocal overdubs on it.

Don't some of Billy Joel's lines overlap with each other in that song, to the point where he couldn't sing it the exact same way in concert? I remember seeing Eminem live and being disappointed that he didn't rap everything, leaving many lines to background singers. I wondered at first if he was trying to save his voice, or just being lazy, but it's more likely that some of his songs overlap in that same way and just CAN'T be performed by a single person live, not without changing the flow.

How about "The Longest Time"? By which I mean, we need that song in Rock Band (although it has more than 3 vocal parts, and NO instruments, so yeah, it would be a pretty radical choice - BUT STILL). But also I mean, would you count that as a duet? OK, there are several reasons why that's not a fair comparison. It's all Billy Joel singing all of the parts, but it's not like he's pitting 2 vocal ranges against each other as a duet (with several other ranges spelling out the harmony and percussion, etc.).

In conclusion I'm going to agree that, the way it's charted in RB, It's Still Rock and Roll to Me is performed much like a true duet and should be on the list.

Yeah, I knew about them, but I was only wanting songs that are actually charted in the game as true duets.

King of Rock by Run-DMC would definitely make the list.
