Does the forum have an "English only" rule? I can't remember.

More or less, and not because of favoritism of any kind, but because it's the one language we all have in common on here, so sticking to that language makes communication between all users easier and doesn't exclude anyone.

If non-native speakers of English have urgent support questions that they're not comfortable asking in English (due to a lack of proficiency or other reasons), we tend to allow it if they make such posts in their native, non-English tongue. But for ease of communication and ease of moderation (not everyone in the mod squad speaks multiple languages, nor do we cover all existing languages between us), we tend to discourage and close regular discussions in any language other than English.
