I wouldn't say that, there are several songs I recognize. It does get significantly bleaker though. Several of those are remakes though as well.

Though the inclusion of a Phil Collins song because his colaborator's only hit was that is stretching things a bit.

I think (emphasis on think) he meant that at the beginning of the list you see a lot of songs that also appear in the game, but then that tapers off quickly. After #30, only one song legitimately appears in the game.

I think the reason it gets so dead after 30 is that a lot of those songs aren't as well-known as the top of the list. I haven't heard quite a few songs from that end of the list.

Either way, I'd kill for pretty much every song on this list, and in the case of a few entries (Madness, Big Country, Dead or Alive, Quarterflash, XTC, etc.) I'd take their non-hits, as well.

No idea how Madness qualifies as a one-hit wonder, though. They're like an institution in Europe and I think "It Must Be Love" was a pretty big hit in the US, too.

I think Singstar has about 40% of these songs(Most from the top 50). Would love to see more in Rock Band. Bow Bow Bow - I Want Candy with Pro Guitar would be cool. Video Killed the Radio Star and Beds are Burning to me should be in the top 20.

While I'm happy for the ones we do have and looking at that list it starts off strong, after #30 it just dies.

That is correct.

I wasn't saying the songs were bad after #30, I was saying we were missing a lot after that point. Hell, I'd buy most of those if they were ever released.

I Want Candy was suppose to be in GH80's, but never made the setlist :/ It is a cover for the game so I'm pretty sure you guys can expect pro guitar charts for that song
