I like music of all kinds (prefer 50-90's) but I also enjoy songs from 00's-present.
For you to say this is the most fun week on guitar you had since Yes pack seemed like a joke (because overall this week doesn't seem that special for a guitarist at all, plus there were few fantastic guitar weeks in the last 10 months - the likes of Def Leppard, etc...).
But I guess you were serious...ok then.

"Just thought I'd mention that it's cool to see a Paper Mario fan who also appreciates death metal. Great job!"
I actually played with Splync this week. Not since Men At Work/Santana has he made videos with me. If you're gonna watch these videos, it will probably be for the drums in all honesty.

Currently shooting for the top 10 total Pro Keys ranks on 360.
I played them. They were ok, nothing too special, as expected. No complaints and nothing to get gooey over. Another solid week. Thank you Harmonix.

This week: The Cast of Showtime's Shameless
I just went to buy the tracks on Xbox Live and they're not in the music store. Had to go through the XLA Game Add Ons section and could only find Only One. Interesting though, the box art thing on the add on was Rock Band Blitz. Is that a new thing for this week, or have they been doing that since PAX-East?
775 Tracks: RB + RB2 + LRB + AC/DC + GDRB + Blitz + 22 RBN + 423 DLC

Curiously, nearly all Rock Band tracks have had their artwork on XBL updated to reflect Rock Band Blitz. I first noticed it with the P!nk pack. RBN is unaffected, and the Cinderella pack isn't labeled RBB, either.
If you scroll through the Top Downloads section, you can see what I mean. the oldest song I noticed with the new artwork was "Don't Stop Believing."
Really odd.
Okay so I bought them all. No regrets so far.
I do wish that there wasn't such a long wait before keys in the Yellowcard song though.

Name me a week since Yes where every song was fun to play on guitar. Was it CCR? It's CCR, isn't it
Not only did I not get frustrated or annoyed or bored during any three of these songs, two of them are already on their way for the top 10 in best guitar songs this year. Train had enough substance to keep it lively, the double strums with chord changes were deceptively fun, and the HOPO chords were a lot of fun to play. Only one was comparable to the bass in Hysteria, the bass in Life is Beautiful, the guitar in Born To Quit, and the solo in Waking the Demon. The only thing I didn't like about the song was the mixing because it seemed like a slightly different version (the chorus isn't as full, there's some weird echo in the lyrics, and you can't even hear the acoustic guitar that I thought I would play in the second verse), but everything in that long HOPO section more than makes up for it. And finally, Two Tickets to Paradise had two amazing solos that only slightly held itself back from having the best guitar song this week with the somewhat awkward alt-strumming patterns thrown in, but this doesn't stop it from still being one of the best guitar songs this year
I just mentioned that earlier in this post, sheesh can't you even read

I'm sorry, is that okay? You sure? Ha, alright. Okay. Sorry though
Forgot about those tasty solos in "Two Tickets..." and didn't realize "Drops..." had as much guitar in it as it did. I'll grab those two for sure.
AsianSteev: if you can read this, put more Ska songs on the RBN! Please?
