Surely interesting. I'd also like to guess it's more Disturbed. But realistically speaking they're hardly worth of the hype, considering they already have 12 songs in the game and two years really isn't that long of a time. Still I'd love to get more from them.

I'm kind of thinking it could be some "ungettable" band, like Metallica, The Rolling Stones, or hell, maybe even Muse. The fact alone that they're hyping this has to mean it's someone above average.
    DLC Wishlist:
    [ ] More Disturbed
    [ ] More Coheed & Cambria
    [X] More Breaking Benjamin - Nov. 1st 2011

You and me both. It wont be and I dont think it will be Led Zeppelin either, I think either of those bands would have a bigger project then just three songs coming. Like a greatest hits pack or something with 10-12 songs.

Not that he said it was only going to be three songs either, I am just going with the percentages here. What have we had all of two or three weeks this year with more then three songs.

What about Pink Floyd with a three pack???

    HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!
    Wishlist:
Metallica:RB w/ Lead, Bass, Rythm guitar-w/pro upgrades for all
    harmonies, Keys/Pro Keys
    drums & pro drums

    and EVERY song!

I didn't get to watch the stream but I really hope this is actually a something big (Aerosmith, Metallica, Muse, Stones, etc.). I would have to think HMX has learned their lesson about the forum hype machine by now and wouldn't make a tease like that if it was anything less. That said I'm also ready to not whine if it's something lame that I have zero interest in because there's a good chance HMX will never learn not to underestimate the forum hype machine.

When was the last Foo Fighters pack?

It's been a long time since we've seen them.
May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?

Regardless, it's not entirely correct. Next week's DLC does feature an artist that has appeared in RB previously, but it's not something that's "2 years in the making" or something that we've been slaving over or some huge pack. I wouldn't even say it's an artist that hasn't been in RB "for a long time". I think folks will dig it, but adjust your expectations accordingly.
    HMX prog by year:

    2008: 18
    2009: 4
    2010: 4
    2011: 16
    2012: ZERO

Don't forget people, today at 6PM EST another super awesome cool (maybe even laser filled) livestream!

with of course this weeks DLC (2 tracks by Foreigner and 1 by Nightwish) and with the full Blitz setlist revealed, we might even see some of those songs being played as well!

What funny green screen stuff will we see this time?
maybe we'll even find out what those last powerups in Blitz are!
Will the guys finally take their shirts off?

Find out! be there in exactly 5 hours!
and don't forget to look at the awesomeness going on in the chat as well!

URGENT UPDATE: Pope is on his way home from a stupid wedding for his stupid family and won't be back for the show tonight. Nick is currently on the road assisting with a DC3 press tour, so he won't be driving Blitz.

That means the B Team will be running the show tonight. Will it be stupid? Will it be sloppy? YOU BET!
